About the Artist

Meet me, Nicky, and I am the main creator of the bird-inspired and nature-inspired designs. I am an avid bird-lover and nature enthusiast. I spend time outdoors as much as I can and bird-watch whenever possible in my community of Orange County, California. I love creating bird and natural art to honor the beauty of the world around me!
​
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Fullerton, and have been practicing art in many media forms which includes acrylic and oil paint, pastels, charcoal, colored pencils, graphite pencils, and in digital form as well.
My Mission
Birds are beautiful! My mission is to create art that showcases the beauty of birds and the natural world for your enjoyment.
I take great care to depict birds and nature in their natural and realistic form, with intricate details and soft colors, using graphite pencils, colored pencils, and oil paints.

I also donate a portion of our proceeds to the Audubon Society and the American Bird Conservancy to help save our birds! See more on these organizations below.
My Vision
Birds and nature are in trouble! Creating art is my way to help contribute to their conservation.

I enjoy watching birds in my communities and work to make my spaces more bird-friendly as well as pollinator-friendly!

Audubon
​
For 120 years and counting, the National Audubon Society has preserved bird habitats, conducted scientific research, influenced policymakers to enact commonsense conservation laws, and engaged communities across the hemisphere to protect the natural resources upon which birds—and we—depend. By “bending the bird curve,” we are working to halt, and ultimately reverse, the decline of birds across the Americas.

American Bird Conservancy
​
American Bird Conservancy was launched in 1994 with Founding President George Fenwick at the helm. He steered the organization through its challenging, fledgling years and beyond, focusing on obtaining real conservation results for birds. The organization’s original mission — to conserve wild birds and their habitats throughout the Americas — continues to guide ABC today.
